Financing a home is so much more than finding a great rate and term. In the Bay Area especially, we are often financing people’s California Dreams. In this web publication, the primary mission is to help homeowners in Northern California grow in their understanding of the financial underpinnings of that ever-elusive dream home. It’s a journey worth the trip. And in this site you’ll find my own personal love of the Bay Area on display, both in how we can finance these dreams and also in what wonderful events and destinations the Bay Area offers its locals and visitors alike. There truly is no place like it on earth!
In the Mortgage Market Round-Up you’ll find quick links to the stories of the day in the finance news that seemed to me to be the most comment-worthy stories I’ve seen, and also links for the Fannie Mae Mortgage-Backed Security Coupon Price and the Bond Yield’s percentage for those of you wishing to follow those if you are “floating” before locking a rate. And usually published around 5 pm on Wednesday, the Momentary Getaway video will hopefully soothe the soul and inspire the spirit for a moment or two. :-)
Thursday’s comments are a little more in depth linking to one finance article in particular, but also include the popular Weekend Wanderer’s Events listing, where you’ll find my recommendations for fun and inspiring events happening in the coming week or two, and the Pic of the Week, which was taken from my own camera highlighting something I’ve captured in the lens. And for you art lovers, check out the Sites for Art Lovers page for local artist websites I recommend too!
